In an impassioned speech
on Thursday in front of a "Take Back America" crowd, DNC Chairman Howard Dean electrified the Democratic base by outlining a battle plan for taking back the White House in 2008. The dazzling three-pronged attack strategy includes making pensions portable, making Election Day a federal holiday and establishing a law "that says you cannot use a voting machine unless it can be recounted by hand."
Just in case those heavy-hitting reforms are not enough to woo the fence-sitters, allow me to propose one more that could help the Dem's chances in the next election cycle:
The GOP is encouraged to steal this idea, too.
